SHIPPING POLICY
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for all orders under £50. For orders £50 and over we will cover the cost of the shipping.
Shipping to UK zone A will cost - £3.95.
Shipping to UK Zone B (Scotland and N.Ireland) - £5.95
We aim to process all orders within 24-48 hours and ship the next working day. It may take us a little longer to process orders over the weekend due to demand, however we are normally on top of this and will dispatch the next working day to ensure you get your products quickly.
We use Royal Mail and Evri as our courier service. If possible, we will always provide a tracking number as soon as one becomes available. This will be sent to you by e-mail or text message.
If an item is out of stock, then we will let you know so you can request a refund or whether you are happy waiting for this product to come back in stock or pick another product.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Right to Cancel and Return Purchases
Under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 14 days from the day after you receive the goods. This right applies to all items except for:
• Perishable goods and other items likely to expire rapidly, this includes all fresh produce, food and beverages and hampers and gift boxes containing such items;
• Items worn next to the body; (Merchandise such as face masks and hoodies are an example of this)
• Sealed items where the seal has been broken; (Any opened product like our sauces)
• Personalised items (Personalised/Celebration sauce where the name has been changed)
If you wish to cancel and return your purchase, please contact our Business Office on info@chilliaddicts.co.uk or call us on 01702 963283 with the order number quoted on the delivery note. You will be given instructions about where to return the goods which must be made without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of notifying us. Alternatively, the goods can be returned to our store at Unit Space 282, leigh road, leigh-on-sea, Essex, SS9 1BW with clear instructions for the reason of your return along with the original receipts. When the goods have been received and checked, a replacement or refund for the goods will be issued. Please note that we do not refund delivery on returned products unless we have personally made the error.
Your statutory rights regarding damaged, defective or incorrect goods are not affected by this

Our store is hosted by One.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com's data storage, databases and the general One.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our third-party payment gateway might use your credit card info for that purpose. See 1.8.

Whether you are using our sauces to prepare a meal, enjoying as a dipping sauce with friends or wearing our merchandise we want to know about it. To receive 15% off your next purchase we ask that our sauces and other Chilli Addicts products are pictured along with a small caption stating their use. Check out OUR CUSTOMERS page for some examples and posting ideas.
It is down to the customer to provide a suitable photo(s) and caption they wish to post in order to receive said discount, but please be advise that we are a family run business and will not tolerate any photos/feedback back that may be considered as offensive. We have the right to void any posting should we feel it is not appropriate.
For security measures and protection, we will never use surnames along with first names, but should you wish to use a nickname (along as it is not offensive) then we will consider this as acceptable.
In addition to security and for your protection you are under no obligation to post a picture if your face. Pictures can be cropped or blurred should you wish not to show your face on our website and social media platforms.
Customers can receive this discount up to 3 times a year. This is a calendar year and will reset from the 1st of January of each year.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Usually, we process and ship your order within 48 hours and up to 48 hours to receive your order.
How do I receive my e-gift card??
This will be e-mailed to you with a code. This code can be redeemed in the coupon section before check out.
How do I select a name for the personalised sauce?
Make the order online and either add a note in the checkout section or contact us via e-mail info@chilliaddicts.co.uk stating your order number and the name you require on the label. That's it. We will then print, stick and send! If you forget to send us the personalised name you would like then we will chase you, however it may delay your whole order.
How hot are your sauces?
Well, everyone handles heat differently. Our hottest sauces are the personalised or celebration sauce and the Armageddon sauce, both are seriously hot. They are rated as extreme on our Chilli'o'Meter which we use to scale the heat of our products. These sauces are approximately 1 million on the scoville chart.
Do you offer wholesale and bulk orders?
Yes! If you would like to purchase our artisan sauces or any other products in bulk, then please contact us first and we will explore what we can offer you. We also provide blind labelling so you can purchase our sauces blank and brand them yourself if you wish, however best speak to us before doing so.
Are your sauces vegan?
Indeed, they are. If we produce a sauce which isn't, we will state this clearly.
Are your sauces organic?
Of course, we would like to say "YES", even though we take every precaution and action to ensure our products are grown organically, to say our products are organic is not a straightforward process. There are many hurdles that need jumping in order for our sauces to be verified as being organic. One of those verification is signing up to the Soil Association which allows us to use the widely recognised 'organic' symbol on our labels. This is not a free service however and has annual costs in order to be registered and certified. It can also take years of being vetted to get this approval to meet their criteria. I believe it may simply come down to the fact that if our business demands this, then it is something we will investigate more deeply.
Are your sauces locally produced?
We only use local farmers to grow and produce our fresh products. Our farm is based in Bedfordshire.
